I promise you this is the perfect tucked away gem the 757. The ambience is always top-tier rather you dining with a group of coworkers, you're wanting to grab a glass of wine or drink at the bar by yourself or have dinner with your family or shoot even a date! It like literally is the perfect setting for any environment. Our waitress was extremely sweet and helpful. She made sure she tended to our table and answered any questions that we may have had.. in the moment she was unsure about certain things she did not hesitate to double check and ask questions! I will always be a fan of street bistro ! Might I add this time of year? Their cinnamon mule is always top-tier
In Newport News and we stopped by 2nd street. Normally we go to Second Street in Williamsburg. The service was spectacular and the staff were very friendly. I had the prime rib french dip with a side salad. French dip was nice size and the dipping sauce was good(maybe a bit too oniony). The side salad was gigantic for a side salad and had cranberries and toasty little pine nuts and various types of lettuce. Ranch dressing was very tasty. My apologies on having no pictures. Thank You Second Street staff!
Angie was great! It was my first time here and she went over the menu and made suggestions! The ambiance is nice and cozy for the perfect date night. Angie was attentive and the food was delicious. I will definitely return my next time in town.
The service was great and food was surprisingly delicious. The atmosphere is nice. Those ribs though, really hit the spot. The sauce was DELICIOUS. It will be my go to from now on.
Amazing restaurant! I went w/ mom & dined in on a non-busy day, so service was quick. I ordered the shrimp & grits for myself and a cheeseburger for my brother. My mom ordered the crab pile which came w/ delicious Gouda grits cakes. The ambiance is casual & family friendly. Nice place.
Wow wow wow Recommend Would return (if I didn't live 10.5hrs away) I searched this place actually on safari as steak salad and this popped up saw about 5 or the recent reviews and was putting the directions in my gps The servers, hostess, waiter, and management were all very polite dressed appropriately and were efficient Our waiter Brandon was great knew what he was serving and what his restaurant had to offer The restaurant was clean There was no wait Food was served fast and hot We sat on patio which was beautiful there were not many flys around either bonus! My husband had the steak pene pasta with veggies and parm cheese he said it was bomb Portion was excellent
We came back into town and decided to stop in for lunch. The menu was different than it used to be. It was a lot of fancy items, no basic items. No basic cheeseburger, sandwiches etc. I did get this steak and it was delicious! $25. I do feel that is very expensive. The entire menu was way more expensive than it used to be. Our server was nice. The restaurant was clean and quiet for the most part. They were not busy at all so everyone was spaced out enough.
Alright this is more of a 3.5 rating but I'm rounding up because the group I was with seemed to really enjoy their meals and some of the reasons why I didn't like the food was my personal preferences. Had lunch here with a group of 5 and our server did a great job with taking care of us. Made sure we had water and other drinks. I got to try the portofino salad and it was good but there was almost too much cheese and cranberries. I also wished that the lettuce had been romaine, a thicker lettuce than the micro-greens and mixed greens. I also added on the chicken tenders for $8.40 and you only got two tenders. For the price not worth it. The baked pimento cheese dip with fresh chips was good! Others at the table enjoyed the French onion soup, quiche, split pea & ham as well as a BLT sandwich. Will go back and try other dishes, just think I struck out with the one I ordered. It's fun e sitting outside on the patio area, and inside also had nice table and chairs.
